Webinar: Adult Protective Services (APS) Innovations Townhall on APS Language

Description

With the diversity of Adult Protective Services (APS) programs and collaborators, are we speaking a common, person-centered, trauma-informed language? As the field and language evolves, what terms work, what may be problematic? Additionally, how do we negotiate challenges that statute/law may pose to language use/change? This recorded interactive townhall discusses these questions as we begin a step towards consensus on building the evolution of APS language use.
