This report is the sixth annual release based on federal fiscal year 2021 data from the National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS), a voluntary reporting system of data from state adult protective services systems. All states, territories, and DC submitted data. The 2021 report, for the second consecutive year, features a special chapter on the impact of COVID-19.
