The seventh annual release of this report is based on federal fiscal year 2022 data from the National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS), a voluntary reporting system of data from state adult protective services systems. All states, territories, and the District of Columbia submitted data.
The APS Technical Assistance Resource Center (APS TARC) is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Community Living (ACL), Office of Elder Justice and Adult Protective Services (OEJAPS).
