Implementation Guide: Strategies to Support Use of Contracts for Child Care Slots

Description

WRMA’s early childhood subject matter experts at the National Center for Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA) collaborated with the Office of Child Care (OCC) and its other national centers to create this resource. The Implementation Guide is part of OCC’s comprehensive technical assistance approach to guide Lead Agencies through use of funds allocated in the American Rescue Plan Act to help states, territories, and tribes recover from COVID-19.

This document is designed for state Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) leaders and focuses on commonly reported concerns regarding the use of contracts for child care slots, strategies to overcome those concerns, and additional considerations for designing and implementing contracts.

This resource lives on OCC’s Early Childhood Training and Technical Assistance System website. Click the button below to see the resource’s posting there.
