NAMRS Data Collection Infographics

Description

These infographics represent the National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS) data elements and code values. These data are collected annually from all states and five major territorial adult protective service (APS) agencies across the U.S. The data elements include investigations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults and adults with disabilities, as well as information on the administration of APS programs.

The infographics were posted to the Administration for Community Living (ACL) website and distributed to all stakeholders before, during, and after 12 national listening sessions. The listening sessions helped inform ACL about desired changes to NAMRS. The infographics were instrumental in providing details of the NAMRS data elements during the sessions.

Learn more about NAMRS on its website. Links for these infographics are available in the “What Data is Submitted to NAMRS?” section on the homepage.
